A little bit about Brooke…
Brooke Vanderdonck is a bicoastal multi-hyphenate artist. She’s an actor, singer, dancer, writer, and comedian.
Her passion for the arts began at a young age, bossing her siblings and cousins around in their family talent shows. Though she likes to think she is much easier to work with now, that passion has never left her. She is currently on the National Tour of Gabby’s Dollhouse Live!, continuing to follow that pursuit of performance. When she’s not touring, she lives in Los Angeles, working on various film/tv projects and sharing her stand up with fellow Angelenos at iconic spots like the Ice House. This past year she also starred in a new two person play called SIMPS at the Broadwater in Los Angeles and acted in a large Superbowl commercial, among other things.
She attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she got her BFA in drama and a minor in Developmental Psychology. Though she now lives in LA, she still has many ties to New York. While in New York, she performed in various plays and films. She also executive produced a film she co-wrote called “Impression”. Her passion for writing and producing has not diminished as she has projects in the works.
Brooke sees performance as a powerful tool to uplift people and communities and bring smiles to their faces. She has always loved making people laugh, and she continues to do so through her work. Even when working on projects that are more dramatic in nature, she never fails to bring a positive attitude to the set or stage. Art is meant to bring people together. She values the ability to create connections both in performance and in her daily life.
Although she loves to perform, Brooke is much more than a performer. When she’s not in front of the camera or on the stage, she can be found teaching or practicing yoga, catching rays at the beach with her friends, or trying some kind of new skill, because she is always on the pursuit of learning more about herself, others, and the world around her.
